I feel this. I worked as a DoD contractor for a while (about 10 years or so). One of the cool things about the job was exploring and utilizing new technologies. I have worked with solar and fuel cells. It was exciting… and a huge let-down. I get strange looks when people ask me about solar, wind, etc. I tell them it’s not worth it. (They invariably think they can run their whole house off a few panels and a couple of car batteries). Nuclear was the way to go (not that I believe in the climate change scam), but we regulated the dog-s#!t out of nuclear so now it’s a LOT cheaper to build a natural gas power plant.

Ok, just when you think nothing will surprise you… We just had an illegal alien break into a building and tote off over $2000 worth of liquor ( I’d like to know what kind) then steal a firetruck while the crew was responding to a call. He wiped out three parked cars one of which was right outside my gun club. You should see the video! It’s a miracle that no one was killed!
The unbelievable part is this, he was charged with 1class D felony, 3 class E felonies, 4 class A misdemeanors, and multiple violations of the vehicle and traffic laws. The judge let him go on his own recognizance!

Well heck, he had free room and board , clean sheets, all you can eat with entertainment and social rehabilitation classes . I’m surprised the judge didn’t make him stay

The University of Pennsylvania has nominated transgender swimmer Lia Thomas for the 2022 NCAA Woman of the Year award, the American college sports regulating body said.
Thomas shot to fame earlier this year when she became the first transgender NCAA champion in Division I history after winning the women’s 500-yard freestyle in March and she had hoped to compete for a place at the Olympics.
