Wilson Magazines for 22 TCM Having feed issues with 40 gr Armscore

So do I need to Trim or adjust Feed ramp to make them work?

Guessing single stack 1911 Wilson 38 Super mags??? But which variety? Wilson sells several different followers and mag bodies.

I don’t recall who supplies Armscor but I think they are Metalform. I’d suspect feed lips on the Wilsons as the mag bodies on some Wilson mags are thin guage.

I run single stacks from RIA plus Tripp Cobra 38 Super mags - no adjustments have been required. I do tap back of mags into my palm to ensure cartridge bases are flush against back of magazine.

Thanks I just have Trouble with the $44.00 Charge for the Rock Island singles for 22 TCM & Thought the 38 Supers would work for the Round.
No problem with the Other Double Round Para Style Mag on the Other 22 TCM I have.

So the 38 Super mags should accept the 22 TCM Round ?
What about the 9R round?

Yes to 22TCM. I have no experience with 9R - I just avoid it.

But, I also run 9mm in 38 Super mags. Same tap it to flush base of rounds against mag advice.

NO.

You do NOT need to mess with the feed ramp!

You need to remove enough material from the lips of the MAGAZINE to allow the tapered portion of the shoulder near the neck of the 22TCM to freely begin to tilt as the tip of the round encounters the feed ramp. Go VERY slowly. The best way to do it is to use an actual 22TCM magazine as a guide.

The 22TCM9R round is the same case with a 39 grain bullet instead of a 40 grain, so that the COAL is .001 shorter, which is needed when feeding from a 9mm magazine into a Glock - sized pistol feed ramp.
You can use the “9R” designated ammo in a 22TCM pistol, but can’t run regular 22TCM through a converted Glock without some feeding/reliability issues.
