What causes the dents in the rim of the brass

Out if my S2K

Ejection pattern. Generally that type of dent is indicative of an obstructed ejection path.

The brass will generally leave tell tale marks on whatever it’s contacting. Do you have a gold scuff on or near your ejection port?

@Glwenzl Could be my bad eyesight, but the Remington’s primers appear to be cratered in the first photo.

When I get home I’ll inspect the ejection port a little closer. That makes good sense and something I should of thought about

Thanks

And yes I was thinking the primers looked a little cratered. I was trying out different types of powder and want sure if it was from the load or something else.

Thanks for the observer eye
