The best handgun for CCW?

Also, the best handgun for shooting practice at range?
Anyone?

Thanks!

I switch between a Glock-17 and a Ruger Security 9.

Welcome to the forum. Got to a local range and rent as many handguns as you can. Whichever you shoot best with that is the gun for you. Buy said handgun. Then find a way to conceal it on you via the plethora of IWB holsters.

Below are my favorite. The 43x MOS in an appendix holster, and my 48 MOS OWB right side. I also pocket carry my Ruger LCP 2 in a Desantis pocket holster.

My wife likes her shield. I never really thought I had big hands but I have found that many of the newer smaller CCW pistols don’t feel quite right. The shield is about as small as I can go and feel like I am comfortable with.
I saw a really nice hellcat the other day that caught my eye as well.

I usually carry the Shield, but when I’m in shorts I carry the LCP2.

What are you looking to do? What is your goal? plan? Training?
Go to a range and ask someone at the rental counter for help and training.
Ultimately-what do you want to do? You just asked everyone what is their favorite handgun,.

Welcome to the Brotherhood @Mario For concealment I use a Glock 43 with an internal Lasermax guide rod laser. Had the grip stippled as well.

For teaching, practice, and plinking I like my Glock 44 in .22lr.

I would also recommend a Taurus TX22 for practice. I am definitely picking up one when we get our $1,400 government subsidized gun and ammo money.
