Taurus TX22: A Review

Hi all! Here’s my take on the TX22. It’s been getting a lot of good press lately, so I wanted to try one out for myself.

I like my Tx22 and I enjoyed your review, as I do all your videos.
I’ve run a mixed bag of ammo and haven’t found one it didn’t like.
Had a magazine break-in issue, but it seems to have improved.
The grip and trigger break are comfortable to me. Opinions vary.

I also have a G2c and look forward to your review on that one, too.
The trigger isn’t horrible, light, but it has way too much pre-travel.
There’s another entire conversation we could have about upgrades.
And unintended (maybe) benefits, like mag compatibility, barrel swaps.

And yet another Taurus I’d like to see you review, the awesome G3.
Really like shooting this one. Functionality well above it’s price point.

Thanks HR, keep up the great service you do.

My experience with the TX22 has been awesome.
1000 rounds with zero failures, all suppressed with CCI Standard Velocity Ammo.
Interestingly, I shot my Ruger LCP II .22 last week and had two failures, both were CCI Stingers. Everything else ran fine. I wonder if there is an issue with the Stingers?

Thanks guys! I hope those TX22’s keep running well for you. The G2c review should be up next Saturday morning.
