Sub 2K upgrades vs my other weapons

It’s kind of interesting, I’m normally not a big upgrade kind of guy. On my pistols, about the only thing I do is Talon grips and night sights, with an occasional trigger job for non-carry weapons, but after reading ten million articles, and forum posts, from what I can tell, the the enhancements are what make the S2K shine. I do apologize for the many questions, but am learning a great deal. I really just wanted to thank everyone for sharing their knowledge

When I bought mine I went to the range and put 60 rounds through it. I immediately drove home and ordered EVERYTHING.

Completely different gun now. Before it was a gimmick. It folded up small and then pew-pewed. Now? Its a beast.

Trigger sucked, too much plastic everything, hard butt that slipped, charge handle too small, lack of optics…

Yeah. Fixed all that.

Absolutely, and totally a fun weapon :grinning:

But half the fun is doing the upgrades and seeing and feeling the difference!

It’s true, I did something similar a number of years ago on an AR, ended up almost tripling what I paid for the original weapon. It’s not that I have money to burn, because I don’t, but on certain Guns, it’s almost like I can’t help myself : (

When I went back and looked at what I spent on this rifle, I could’ve bought something else already set up! But I don’t think it would’ve gave me the fever!

Yup . . . by the time I put in all the upgrades to make it great, I have spent an additional $300 dollars easily. But then I really like it.

Absolutely, did you do the M* shell deflector?

No deflector. Don;t have a problem with shells hitting my face or body.
