I just moved into a new place in WY - 5 miles from anyone else - I’m discontinuing my gun range membership. It’s so nice to be able to go out in the backyard and do what we all do. I’m working on several “projects”, and it is great to do all the sighting in, etc. in private.

I’d be picking up a .338 Lapua and setting up for one of those miles just to see if I could do it. Lol

'Merica! Maybe once a year when I want to reach out beyond a hundred yards with rifle calibers I’ll visit the range. Otherwise, just trying out different loads, etc,–It makes me appreciate the freedom of living in the country, THIS country!

I always said I wanted to move to Wyoming, and do just what you’re doing, or take a multi-mile walk in the wilderness.
Not sure if I’ll ever pull it off in this ever increasing phuqtup world, especially coming from California.
