Safety button sticking

Hey everyone new to having the sub2000. Just put in some new upgrades. I noticed when I push the safety, there is alittle metal pin that is underneath that will protrude. To take safety off, I push the little button underneath so I can put it on fire. Does anyone know anything about this? I have the gen 2 Glock 17 version. I just haven’t pushed the safety all the way in to keep it from doing it.

@wwjd83061, If you’re talking about that little gold BB, that’s normal. You should be able to switch the safety on/off without pushing the BB in though. Mine were a little stiff also but got better with use. I worried the BB and spring would come flying out but they never have.

Thanks a bunch I’ll keep wiggling it to loosen it up

I’m with @Texprep. My bb is VERY visible, but has never come off.

I was working with it today and it’s starting to loosen up.

Mine is still pretty tight despite being used hundreds of times. I am fine with that. While not difficult it takes a firm push to disengage the safety and there is an audible snap.
