Rittenhouse NOT GUILTY 5cts

The only reason he’s not guilty is due to the pathetic ignorance of the prosecution about guns and self defense. They prosecuted from an emotional position with no regard for the law or rules of evidence. They could have charged him with a laundry list of things that would have stuck, mostly misdemeanors and possibly a felony or two. I almost have to wonder if the prosecutorial incompetence wasn’t done on purpose. The guilty verdicts in the Ahmaud Arbery case is proof that the system works.

Care to elaborate? Curious what you think he could/should have been charged with under Wisconsin law.

Totally different cases. The defendents were the aggressors in this case.

He was not guilty due to clear self defense. The Arbery case was a different situation that did not justify self defense. You’re comparing apples to oranges

NO the cameras saved his ass. Chances are with all the lying and BS they would have convicted the kid.

I’d also like to hear what crime you think he committed?

The prosecution was setup to fail, because the DA shouldve (or did) known that they didnt have anything solid to base a case on. It left them grasping for substance, and looking desperate during the trial. There was probably only a trial because of the public scrutiny, otherwise i doubt they wouldve brought charges at all.

There was only a trial because the socialist DAs think they can use a case like this to chip away at our 2nd amendment rights. Throw in the socialist MSM spreading outright lies and there you have the socialist alliance against America. I hope Rittenhouse sues the anti America POS at CNN for enough to put them into bankruptcy.

We were at the in-laws for dinner tonight and the father-in-law said he couldn’t believe Kyle walked. After discussing things, he said “they never said any of that on the news.” It’s sad how low our news has sank

What did the Trumpeter always say… “MSM is the enemy of the people” well those statements amongst many other he made are absolute truth!

Even his nominated Gina Haspel couldn’t clean it up and it certainly wasn’t because of her incompetence, it was because there’s far too many imbedded profiles working their normalcys for the better part of 40yrs.

Its truly sad how “We The People” are played

That is what I think. I am glad he survived but he is not without scars.

Do you truly think he will come out financially ahead? Will he win anything from CNN or other news companies? I would be surprised.
Now will he face civil suits from the other parties?

I think it’s well established that it was self defense. The prosecution was totally ignorant of gun law and what the video evidence portrayed. That said, under Wisconsin statutes that say anyone under 18 who “goes armed” with any deadly weapon is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor, therefor Rittenhouse was not old enough to legally carry the AR he had. Initial reports that he carried the gun across state lines have since been proven false. The rifle was said to belong to a friend who presumably was in legal possession. I’d pose this question, what kind of idiot gives his legal AR to an unsupervised minor during a riot? Rittenhouse is definitely not guilty of murder but if bad judgement was a felony KR would be doing hard time.

Wisconsin gun laws are goofy though. The amount of hunting allows for minors to carry rifles and shotguns. When watching the trial, there’s a lot of subsections of the law that was gone over. Kyle would have had to violate two of the subsections in order to be charged, and that’s why the gun charge was dropped. I’m willing to bet that the laws will get changed after this. I think that the law will clean up some gray areas, and make it illegal for minors to possess firearms in city/urban areas.

I do believe you are grasping at straws. He committed NO crime. An unsupervised minor? Really? He’s was old enough to serve in the military.
You want to talk about “bad judgement”? Really?
How about the fact that if those violent rioters hadn’t attacked & tried to kill him they wouldn’t have gotten shot!

It’s a safe bet that the law that should have prevented KR from carrying an AR will be amended and tightened up to eliminate any ambiguity. This is an unintended consequence of his immature judgement, that gun laws become more restrictive. KR was disqualified from joining the Marine Corps. Maybe he didn’t have Mommy’s permission. Maybe the recruiter saw something in his behavior that wouldn’t pass a psych eval. The case of the gun’s legal owner, Dominic Black, remains to be decided. What if he claims KR took the gun without his knowledge or permission? I’m pretty sure that would expose KR to some felony charges. Wisconsin law (Wisconsin Legislature: 948.55) calls giving a gun to minor a felony which will strip Black of his gun rights. 20 years old is too damn young to be saddled with a felony record and no gun rights. Count on Black to claim KR stole his gun to save his butt.
