Optimum sight in distance for red dot

Sorry if I missed a previous post, but I did search and didn’t find what I was looking for . Probably incorrect choice of search words.
Anyway , at what distance should a red dot on the S2K be zeroed at in order to hit steel targets at distances of say 25 to 100 yards while holding center aim ? 8” targets, 9mm 115 gr.
Thanks for the help!

@G-Dub :eye: Zero Red Dots at 25 yds. And usually shoot @42 yds. with my red dot on the PCC9 and 10/22 TakeDown…no drop for me @42 yds. and at 3,200’ elevation…:boom::boom::boom::sunglasses::grin:

What elevation and distance are you shooting at max with your red dot?

Which Red Dot MOA are you using?

Here’s a bullet trajectory calculator…

Elevation around here is approx 1100’.
Doubt I shoot it farther than 100 yds since that’s as far as it goes at the range I use the most. I’ll be using the gun just for plinking and family competitions .
As far as moa , right now only thing left out in the gun room is an old bsa 5moa. So I’ll be looking for something real quick . Just received phone call today to come pick up my 2nd S2K.
Thanks for the help !
