Election season again. Time for a “new dangerous strain” of Covid to get us in lockdown. It’s all about the totalitarian, socialist Democratic Party getting votes from the border jumping Mexicans, dead people and mail in’s. Some universities have already issued mask mandates. Don’t give in this time. He is no better than Hitler.

We can talk about more than guns here. My guess is when talks turn to politics, they can get heated quickly, and the rules were probably put in place to avoid that. When I used to drink, I refused to talk about two topics in a bar: politics and religion. It almost always ended with arguments.

No need for an apology Jim. We all share the same sentiment as you.
Its difficult to leave politics out of the discussion given things like the current climate worldwide, the problems we are facing here in our own country, and the unrelenting assault on our second amendment rights.
That being said, the zero tolerance rule regarding politics and religion is in place to prevent all the problems that seem to inevitably result.
. It’s not a perfect system, but it has kept our forum from falling into a negative and unproductive environment that has so often plagued ( and sometimes destroyed) other forums.
As Josh said, it is not censorship, but rather a method of maintaining the highest quality forum and environment we can.
