Will changing the recoil spring change the felt recoil?

The âhammer springâ and firing pin stop will do that. The spring under the barrel is mainly to return the slide to lock.

OH Boy!! I feel an Austrian blitzkrieg coming. I have to admit, I carried a 17 when the options were fixed sights, adjustable sights, or 17L. Of course that was the 1980s and some here werenât born yet. I have become older and possibly wiser. My carry guns are usually slimmer, partly because I am not. SoâŚ.1911, XDs 45 and 9mm deranger. Yes deranger not derringer, because I like Picasso, and it is going to leave powder burns. I bought my XDs before there were any small 45s I could count on and afford. The 1911 is a 5â but slim enough to work with the appropriate gear. I am sure they would giggle at the size of my derringer, especially in TEXAS.
