LCP II .22 Spring Kit

I recently bought a LCP II .22 and thought the trigger upgrade would be easy to do … ordered it and got it yesterday … followed the video to take the gun down and all of a sudden we have more parts then are shown and an extra spring? My LCP is not the same as the video? My whole firing pin setup is different then what is shown. Apparently the gun in the video is a LCP II .380 … mine has different innards!
Is there not a video on the .22?
At this point the gun is all disassembled and I’m stuck with having to send it in to get it re-assembled.

You are correct in stating the video is for a LCP II 380.
The gun you have is a Lite Rack LCP .22.
It may look the same as it’s bigger brother but it is a very different gun.
Being as it’s a 22 I’m not sure that the spring kit is designed for the .22 model.
Perhaps MCARBO is the place you should contact regarding your issue.
I would be reluctant to mess with the springs on any 22 knowing that a hard strike on the cartridge rim is required for ignition.
