KEL-TEC SUB-2000 Bolt Tube Cover

I was considering getting the Sub 2000 bolt tube cover, but can’t decide if it’s a useful upgrade or not…Thoughts
Thanks

When ordering it, it’s asking me
“Do you have a Plastic or Metal Collar” the collar is stock, so I should choose plastic, is that correct?

Same as me, I wasn’t sure and ordered the SUB2K Gen1 by mistake.

Almost the same excepting the serial number knockout doesn’t line up and the Gen 1 bolt tube cover is a little longer, so I just slipped it up further onto the collar a bit until the Gen2 came in, then it was about a year before I cleaned it and swapped it out when it was apart.

To be sure I ordered the right part, I gave M*CARBO a call and shared the serial number, and they said no problem, here is the part number you should order, most certainly.

Just a quick call to M*CARBO should answer your question.

Good luck.

It does make it slightly harder to get you eye behind the rear sight. Added red dot to make up for it.
