A very good friend gave me his old, trusty 1998 Marlin model 60 after shooting it very heavily since he bought it new.It was on it’s second, broken, plastic trigger group/gaurd and the bolt recoil spring was worn out along with a firing pin five thousands of an inch shorter from wear. (Buffer long gone as well) Although I haven’t received the spring kit yet ordered from M*CARBO,I have no doubt that it’s a solid investment. I don’t know how I never encountered this particular model before, considering how many that are out there, but it seems very reliable. I’m looking forward to letting the old owner enjoy it again. Hopefully he won’t mind that I refinished the stock.
