Moon bike…
2006 Kawasaki Ninja 636. I’m the only owner, have about 30,000 miles on it
I collect dealership pins as I travel across the land. Have about 100 now. Would have more but some dealerships don’t carry them.
Gathering in Lakeland for the escorted Wreaths Across America ride to the vet cemetery in Bushnell. Should be 500+ bikes
After 7 years and over 100k miles on 2 bikes Buster got a new jacket for Christmas. Stylin’ and profilin’. WOOOOOO!
Ran our 21st Annual Toy Run today. Couple hundred + bikes. All delivered safely. Auction was epic till my wife-to-be paid over 2 grand for an oak barrel table in the charity auction.
ETA: Seems I tried to post this way back 12.19.21.
Saw this beautiful softail springer parked at the VA yesterday. I think 2009 was the last year they were built and this one was in showroom condition. Walked away drooling
By the looks of the badge on the tank it’s a 100th anniversary edition. That would make it a 2003 and would increase the value of the bike. I had the privilege of being in Milwaukee for the 100th anniversary, what a party that was.
Gearing up for Mandatory took a twist last night.
German Mike is touring clubhouses on his way so we got together for some fellowship. 4x4 surprised me on highway getting home.
Darkside saved our skin.
Here is what a 4" curb 85mph 2up does to Al wheels:
Hit a 4" curb at 85MPH? How in the world did they not go down?
4x4 or 6x6 laying across 2 lanes of I69N. Rear is down in pic. But was holding on side of road when we decided to limp her home instead of calling for a trailer
The rear is a car tire (‘darkside’). Love me some Austone Taxi Tires - swap out btwn 30 and 40k on the back of that dresser. A motorcycle tire would have shredded.
I run pretty high pressure on fronts (40-45 psi) so it did better with the 2-up rear weight bias. Taxi tire runs best btwn 30 and 35psi.
I think the rear air shocks are toast as well. But grand daughter gets pinned into the RN honor society tonight. She graduates Saturday , so I’m out finishing route early.
WOW! Glad no one was hurt. I’ve had several near misses and 1 wreck in 60 years on 2 wheels (hit by some bimbo on her phone) but fortunately have never had what you experienced. Just a few small branches on the mountain twisties. Stay safe out there.
I would try a car tire on the rear of mine but I don’t think there is one made in the size I use.
Some great looking bikes here. While I don’t have a bike, I get to do work on them, although not as much as I used to. Really need to get back into pinstriping…
Nice work(20 characters)
Thank you, sir!
1 2 3 4 5 6 20!
I sold my bike last Saturday. I picked this up today. 2014 H-D Breakout with 5k miles on it
Nice. Enjoy and be safe.
