Other than GunBroker, are there other sites selling military collectibles. I’m looking for a WW1 1903 Springfield that is a shooter.
In Canada we have marstar. I know they get some really rare ones in, worth a look. I dont know how it would work importing it south if you live in the states
Have you tried CMP M1903?
Here are just a few.
Best of luck on your search. It would be an awesome piece of history to own.
CMP has some really nice products.
Thanks for the suggestion. CMP all out of ‘03’s with no expectation to get more. I will persevere.
I’ll check it out. Not sure Of Canadian regs but hoe complicated can it be, right? Ha. Thanks for the suggestion.
Have you considered the 03-A3 as an alternate? To be honest I’m not looking at the moment so I can’t say it would be any easier to find. IMHO, the A3 has better sights.
Thanks for the suggestion. I do have an 03A3, just wanted a WW1 era 03. I may just buy one of the many non shooter low serial number 03’s that are available. Just keep it for display. I appreciate your help and taking the time to reply. Be well.
@kjpsu68 Good luck with your quest.
Hello, I have used gunbroker quite a bit. You can also try www.gunsinternationa.com. Also check out the periodic auctions at rock island auction company. With that one, be forewarned, they add 15% premium, freight is really high too. I factor in 20-25% when using RIA auctions.
Check out Classic Firearms they have some older guns
@doc165 Welcome to the Brotherhood David.
@doc165 Welcome aboard
Thanks, I passed on a few two years ago and am now kicking myself in the butt. Just have to bite the bulletin and trade some more dollars.
Thanks I’m checking them out periodically, one will pop up.
Gun broker will probably be my savior.
@doc165 Welcome to the Brotherhood.
