M*CARBO Brotherhood

First Post Here: Introduce Yourself!

Hello MCARBO folks. Thanks for doing what you do here. I’m looking forward to getting my sub2k pretty soon. Also will be interested in seeing what sort of upgrades and future products you’ll be producing in the future. I’m already getting interested in getting a KSG next and maybe after that head towards the RDB 17" also. I never expected to be a kel tec fanatic but, it is what it is. I’m a fan so far.

  1. What have you been shooting the most lately?
    Beretta M9
  2. Current projects your working on?
soon to be owner of a sub 2k g2. just spent almost as much as the gun on MCARBO stuff. Plan on shooting it in stock form for a week or two at the range before upgrading so I can get a good feel for the difference the parts make.
  3. Are you a Veteran or Police Officer?
    Navy Vet.
  4. Do you shoot any competitions?
  5. Do you own a SUB-2000?
not yet… but, getting one in a week or two.

Welcome to the MCarbo Forum - a lot of great people here.

Hope you enjoy yourself here.

I’m a proud Navy Vet of the Vietnam Era, old but I can still hit the mark!
Really enjoy competition rifle shooting, long range, running deer and paper punching Varmit shoots.
Really like the .22-250 Ackley Improved, what a tack driver.

Welcome. @35whelenimp Thank you for your service and commitment. I think you’ll enjoy being an MCar-Bro.

Welcome to the M*CARBO Brotherhood of Arms and thank you for your service. Looking forward to your contribution to our team, Joseph. All the best, my friend!

Thanks for the kind words.

It may take me awhile to figure out how to navigate this forum.

My technology skills aren’t near as well honed as my reloading and shootings abilities!

Thanks again,

Joe- 35whelenimp

No worries, Joe. I ‘was’ considered a ‘newbie’ back in November, last year! This is the first forum that I have ever belonged to. Being disabled, gives me too much time on my hands? lol This is the only ‘social media’ platform that I utilize. The Brotherhood is a wonderful crew… Everyone is willing to help out and there is a wealth of knowledge to ‘share…’ ** @discobot display help** will be your ‘best friend’ for navigational purposes. Feel free to inbox me if you need any additional pointers.

@35whelenimp (Joseph)

Lately I have mostly been shooting my S&W M&P .40 5" and my Sprgfld XDm 9mm 51/4"
My current project is a .30 M1Carbine (Inland), .going to oil finish the stock.(carried one several tours in Nam)
I am retired Army 21yrs, SFC 11B and others, After I was a Deputy in Texas for few years. Then a Firefighter Lt. at The Grand Canyon.
I don’t shoot competition,I am a gun trader.
I do own a SUB-2000 ,almost finished with the uopgrades. A really cool lightweight carbine! I also had, some years ago. one of the very first models- I did not like it! Traded it for a .357! This new model is Keyword- Reliable
