East Coast reloading

Earlier today I got an email from East Coast Reloading stating that they had 5000rd. bricks of Winchester SR primers back in stock. I went to the site and found out they wanted $1000 PLUS hazmat and shipping! I deleted the email. I just got another from their CEO asking people to refrain from screaming at his sales reps. because “the wholesale price is above $120 and is expected to stay that way for the next two years at least”.
I don’t know if this clown is just really bad at buying or he just thinks his customers are stupid! I thought about writing him and telling him how stores like Natchez and Brownells have primers from time to time for $89 retail per 1000 which is STILL high but figured it’s better to share it.

I bought from brownells at $70 +ship and hazmat.

Academy has them occasionally for $70 in store.

Check ammoseek if you are needing some and if you see what you need jump if it’s a good price. They have some dumb prices listed too but I just check the beginning of the list.

The WHOLESALE cost for 100 primers now exceeds $120 in many cases and we expect it to rise further

His ridiculous price is per 100. Maybe he had a typo? Too rich for my blood.

Nor will I, the “quote” was a cut and paste from the email I received.
