There is an art to CC. I have been discreetly carrying since the late 1980’s. It is something better practiced with discerning friends. The security team I am with does a lot of vetting each other’s concealment. Gazing, bump checking, etc. Use a full length mirror, or enlist your family to snap pics and send them to you for you to check to make sure you don’t telegraph your weapon location. Imagine it blending in and do you best to “fly casual”. I have had opportunity to use my sidearm, but found other quieter methods of resolving the problem. The subject had no idea I was armed, I keep it as my final problem solver. I use my mind, stance, light, situation, feet, and knife all before presenting my pistol. It is just a piece of the security puzzle. I would not be out in DC at 2 in the morning, even with protection. I use my mind to stay out of direct harms way. Practice and prepare, you can successfully do it comfortably.

Not true! Any man carrying two 5" Gubbies in a shoulder rig can have whatever he damn well wants on his leather… :cowboy_hat_face:

The liners are a darker brown and the edges of all the pieces are done in a darker brown. And the floral carvings are based on 30s 40s era big screen old west leather designs. Now the real old west most of the holsters where plain or cut down calvary holsters or just stuffed into a waist band. Then hollywood came along and made the old west glamorous and stylish by adding rhinestones and fancy decorated leather to everything. The designs i used on this 1911 dual wield rig was based on some al stholman and will ghormly designs from old books i have. Will ghormly is the leather old timer who made the floral carved “hand of god” gunfighter rig that russel crow wore in the remake of 3:10 to yuma. I really like doing my more modern more tattoo style pieces with wicked skulls and such but you cant beat a classic design and finish.

These showed up friday. Parts pile is building. Just started on the front bumper yesterday. Plate bumper from coastal offroad, winch or wench, 4x innovations rock sliders. Also last month got some mickey thompson baja boss at tires installed. Need to redo my font alignment badly. I’m at -1.7 degree camber and need to be 0 degrees. Uggh.

Also garden is doing fantastic, more peas hen i can think of, a bumer crop of strawberries, and the last bit of tasty lettuce. Chickens are kicking butt! 4-7 eggs a day.

Also my dad had a bad accident on a ski trip. Someone hit him while skiing and he broke a rib, tore the tendon in his thumb, and has a tibial plateau fracture in his left leg. The hospital has been dicking us around regaring getting him treatment. Friday they finally put a cast on his arm. Latest update they said “we will see how it heals and go fom there”. But he is doing well so we are happy.

Slowly building the bumper. Some slight clerance issues with some bracing, but worked out the issues. Will need to replace my trans cooler, also going to replace some a/c lines and condenser while I’m here. Also move the power steering cooler too.

@Gbauer 2000 4runner coastal offroad bumper. Then 4x innovations rock sliders.

@chilipepper thanks! I don’t drive it much as I ride my bike to work. New tires and socal sun kills the rubber quite quickly. They fit 32"ers perfectly.

Gotcha.

Looks like you can knock down trees with that

Just finished up the last shoulder holster for house of payne munitions for now. This is for the owner and his tanfoglio defiant stock 2 optic ready. I had to use my cz shadow2 prop but with some slight mods needed. Added little extra ohio flair with state shape patch on back panel along with custom house of payne logo stamp.

He doesnt plan on running an optic but i still had to make the holster fit around the huge adjustable rear sight that is on the tanfoglio pistol. And since the pistol is the defiant and its such a good word for the proud patriots of this country i tooled it on the holster

The Spice Girls and Tobasco got a Barndominium and run space doubled. Their old coop has been reassigned to the youngsters that had their first night outdoors last night.

I haven’t talked chicken for a bit. Still have Pepper and Anise, Jersey Giants; Cinnamon and Honey, Golden Sex Links; Sugar and Rosemary, Leghorns; and, this year, we’ve added Tobasco, Easter Egger Rooster that masqueraded as a pullet and three unnamed Easter Egger Pullets.

Run configured into 8x12 plus 8x4 and can be converted to 8x16 easily.
