Very thorough review, Howard. I agree that a $1000 firearm deserves a steel guide rod! It is important to run side-by-side comparisons on comparable firearms so the viewers have a better understanding of what you are discussing.

I was not knowledgeable of the Beretta M9 prior to your video so I enjoyed the ‘short’ history of the firearm as well.

You’re welcome! Thank you so much for watching. As it turns out, there may be a reason Beretta opted for the plastic guide rod in the M9A3. I’ll go over that in the shooting portion of this review.

Lonewolf, take a look at the Elite LTT. You can find this handgun for under $900 (I found mine for $865). This gives you a ss guide rod, decocker, thin G 10 grips, undercut, crowned barrel, and other features. I had a little money left to get the enhanced trigger bar, LTT hammer spring, and the MCARBO spring kit. I also polished the trigger components.
