Beretta 92fs .22lr

there are conversion kits from 9mm to 22lr. i would like to do the opposite and go from 22lr to 9mm, if that is possible.

@ysleta62 Welcome aboard. No, I don’t believe you can convert the 22 to 9mm. Many kits made to convert 9mm to .22lr. The problem is in the size of the cartridge, this may help….22lr handgun to 9mm

I think I’m following you. I can change everything except the size of the magazine etc. it would be great to be able to convert to 9mm if needed. Here I go again buying another gun.

Exactly, the mag and a few other things are the problem. As you’re already familiar, a 92FS would be a nice choice.

If I may chime in, I’m not as familiar with the 92 as I’d like to be.
But if the frames of the 9mm and 22lr are the same, maybe do-able.
I bought my Sig P226 as 22lr and added the 9mm slide and mags.
It is the exact same frame used for all P226 calibers. So it’s great.
I have no idea if Beretta does this with the 92. Or any other series.
Also, as with the Sig, conversion parts are very hard to track down.
It took me a lot of time and searching to find the 9mm xchange kit.

BTW, welcome to the forum. Let us know how it goes with this.

Based on @ValorSolo 's post, you might borrow a 9mm slide & mag from anyone to confirm fit and then function. If that works, it should be easy to come up with 9mm parts of your own. Numrich etc likely have them frequently.
