they used to be a old saying," dance with them that brung ya"
yer Dad had the shotgun, and had the level VOILA! instant laser sight,
I remember we were tapeing or hose clamping maglights to shot guns in the 70s, where we were, no one was making a clamp. then. piece of leater for a shim, 2 clamps round the barrel… remember usein a C rat( think peaches was the best one) can under a M 60 belt to keep it from jamming, 1 belt per can. also have used a set of vise grips, some electrical tape and a bolt to make a snifter for a motorcycle when one broke on me in the middle of FN no where… IMPROVISE ADAPT OVERCOME
ya never know when a lil ingenuity will get yer butt out of a tight bind
ya Pappy showin ingenuity . I like it.:smiling_imp::+1::+1::+1::+1::+1:

I had a Hellcat in my front pants pocket & this months issue of Gun Tests grades it an A. I will have one the month Crimson Trace makes a grip laser for the Hellcat . I have a CT grip laser on my XDS .45 ACP & really like them. Have fun shopping & visiting your Dad ! ! !

Hey Jim
Could you post a photo of the Hellcat in your hand?
I haven’t held one yet. They are not aloud here in
Kalifornia.
Just want to see it in someone’s hand close up.
I hope it’s a fit for me.
Pops is 81 now l, plan on visiting as much as possible until I retiring in 2 years, 1 month, 22 days and moving back there. I have a house on the 200 acres waiting for the wife and I.
We have a place to shoot and three farm ponds to fish.

Sorry I was at a gun store, I was looking & checking it out for the future. I’ll try to copy & paste a page from Gun Tests for U. I can tell you it’s slightly smaller than a 9 mm Shield in my opinion. Retiring in 2 years, 1 month & 22 days but whose counting ! !

Springfield Armory Hellcat 3-Inch Micro-Compact HC9319 9mm Luger, $500

GUN TESTS GRADE: F/A

2

Hellcat #1 failed when the trigger wouldn’t reset, so we returned it. Thus the F grade. Hellcat #2 worked perfectly. Thus the A grade. Hellcat #2 had the most muzzle flip, but it won the 5x5x5 drill and gave us some of the best accuracy in the test. Hellcat #2 redeemed this new pistol’s credibility, in our opinion.
