So my dad gave me some 32-20 reloading dies he found in some of his old reloading stuff. They are in a red box but I can’t find a brand name on them. I’ve seen that some dies were a 2 die set and some were a 3 die set. How do I know if I have a 2 die set or a an incomplete 3 die set?
Really doesn’t matter, 3 die just seperats the seat from the crimp. Loading for it? Use the 2 dies you have to deprime and seat and get a Lee factory crimp die. Best 15 bucks you ever spent.
I will have to do that. Thank you
I guess as long as one is a sizing/ de-priming die I should have said…
Yeah one is. I actually got some loaded up yesterday. The bullet seems pretty tight in the brass but I just ordered the Lee factory crimp die
I’m not sold on everything Lee, but swear by the factory crimp die. Use it almost exclusively for rifle and have a few of my pistol tool heads set up that way also.
(Roll crimp, haven’t tried a taper crimp Lee Factory)
